This rack does the job. It's big enough to hold 2-3 days worth of prefolds, anywhere from 20-24 prefolds, plus covers (see uploaded pictures for a visual!). It is very sturdy and doesn't tip over BUT be careful not to bump the supports that hold up the "wings"! They don't lock into place and if you hit one at the right angle, it collapses that side. This is why I didn't give it 5 stars. I love how it folds down so compactly and is light enough to carry in one hand down a flight of stairs and outside while toting a basket of wet diapers in the other. I own an accordian wooden kind but I wanted something bigger. I like the size of it and really like that it has the shoe holders (that sold me on it). This has only been used inside and today when I opened it I saw a little rust on the edge where I would put my clothes so that's not impressive. I suppose when the weather gets warm again I can spray some spray paint to combat any rust. Not the best quality and it's a little clumsy to spread it out but it works and I'm sure I'll be able to use it for many years because I'll treat it gently but if I were a serious air dryer then I would spend the money on a better version or a larger wooden rack. |
