I just can't put anybody else through what I just went through with the Useful machine. These companies need to remember if they don't make these products right we have to deal with the return process so I am not happy (pain). I get this huge item and pray I don't have to send it back. Oh right, then I have to keep this bulky box until I know the item is not a failure (pain), which I have no room for (pain). I don't know about anybody else but I always have issues with the manual (pain). I never did use the hoses, I stuck my machine in my shower and used my shower hose and head to fill the machine with water it was just easier. The hoses were too cheap to risk breaking. The drain option doesn't work and didn't do anything, you just drop the drain hose it drains water. This particular item I got cut up from the spin basket and got blood on my shower wall (...be... It comes with a spin basket that extracts more water than the earlier model that "twists" laundry. With this automatic you fill the basket when finished washing, place the basket on top of the agitator, and set the cycle switch to "drain" --the machine spins --"normal" is for agitator washing/rinsing --"stop" allows for soaking or draining. The spinner basket holds half of a full wash load and works very well. Spin rinsing works beautifully --afterwards, select "stop" to drain the tub --finally, select "drain" to thoroughly spin out rinse water. Laundry dries in as little time as with all other spin dryers I've used and those are quite a few. This newer model Useful upholds the integrity of the earlier model. J. Miles has both.
